ASTM B265 Gr.1 Industrial Titanium Sheet is of extremely high purity, with very low content of Fe, O and other impurities to ensure its excellent corrosion resistance. In the atmosphere, the surface of pure titanium generates a dense oxide film, which maintains its metallic luster, and this oxide film has a strong protective effect at room temperature. This titanium plate shows excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of media, especially in neutral and oxidising media. It is commonly used in certain dilute reducing acids, such as nitric acid corrosive environments in various concentrations from room temperature up to the boiling point. However, it should be noted that pure titanium cannot resist the corrosion of hydrofluoric acid.
