High purity copper-titanium alloy

High purity copper-titanium alloys are copper-based alloys with exceptional properties, offering ultra-high strength, good electrical conductivity, high modulus of elasticity, high bending properties and high stress relaxation properties. The alloy is usually treated by high temperature solution treatment and subsequent aging to achieve its ultra-high strength and desired physical properties.
Characteristics
High purity copper-titanium alloys exhibit excellent yield strength, elastic limit, electrical conductivity, ductility and fatigue resistance.
The alloy has good resistance to stress relaxation and bending, and is strong enough to outperform traditional high performance copper alloys such as beryllium copper alloys.
Copper-titanium alloys have high strength and good electrical conductivity, with conductivity ranging from 12% IACS to 20% IACS.
The alloy has a density of approximately 8.70 g/cm³ and a high modulus of elasticity around 127 GPa.
