The density of titanium screws is small, and the inertia of titanium liquid during flow is small, resulting in poor flow performance. During the production process, it is easy to cause defects such as pores on the surface and inside of titanium screws. To make titanium screws bright and colorful, it is necessary to remove the surface reaction layer of titanium screws. There are two ways:
1. Sandblasting
Impacting sand particles on the surface of titanium screws generates intense sparks, which react with the temperature increase and form secondary pollution, affecting surface quality. Remove the sand sticking, sintered layer, and partial oxide layer on the surface of the casting in fifteen to thirty seconds, and quickly remove the remaining reaction layers on the surface using chemical acid washing method.
2. Pickling
The use of acid washing can quickly and effectively remove the reaction layer on the surface of titanium screws without producing contamination from other metal elements.
Titanium screws have a steel like appearance with a silver white luster and are a transition metal. Pure titanium screws have high strength, low density, high hardness, high melting point, and strong corrosion resistance, so they can be used in many fields.
