What do you know about TA2 titanium plates?

TA2 titanium plate at room temperature has better mechanical properties performance, is inseparable from its closely linked microstructure. Observed that when magnified 400 times, its main grain length in the range of 25 ~ 50um, large grain length can reach 50um, small for 15um, most of the grain size of 25um or so. These data show that the grain size distribution of the annealed TA2 titanium plate is more uniform and the shape is more regular, mostly polygonal. With the increase of strain rate, the tensile strength of TA2 titanium plate shows an increasing trend.

The tensile strength of TA2 titanium plate is more obviously affected by the temperature, when the temperature increases from 300°C to 1000°C, the tensile strength value decreases from 183.34MPa to 3.38MPa, and there is a significant decrease at 500 ~ 600°C. Therefore, the increase of temperature in the high-temperature stage has a more uniform distribution of grain size and a more regular shape, mostly polygonal. Therefore, the increase of temperature in the high temperature stage has a significant effect on the tensile strength value of TA2 titanium plate, and 500~600°C is the critical temperature of TA2 titanium plate where the mechanical properties of TA2 titanium plate are seriously degraded, which needs to be emphasized in the chemical industry.
