Product Introduction
Gr-12(ti-0.3 mo-0.8 ni) titanium alloy is a kind of corrosion-resistant titanium alloy, which is developed to improve the crevice corrosion properties of pure titanium. The alloy contains 0.3% mo and 0.8% Ni, which not only strengthens the alloy, but also enhances the corrosion resistance of titanium, moreover, it has good crevice corrosion resistance to high temperature, low pH chloride or weak reducing acid, and its corrosion resistance is much better than pure titanium but close to TA9 alloy. Gr-12 alloy also has good process plasticity and welding properties, and has been widely used in chemical industry. The alloy can be used in annealed state, and its main products are plate, bar, pipe, forgings and wire, etc.

Mainly used to manufacture compressor parts, such as forged titanium fans, compressor discs and blades, cast titanium compressor casings, intermediate casings, bearing housings, etc.Spacecraft mainly utilize the high specific strength, corrosion resistance and low temperature resistance of titanium alloys to manufacture various pressure vessels, fuel tanks, fasteners, instrument straps, structures and rocket casings.Artificial earth satellites, lunar modules, manned spacecraft and space shuttles also use titanium alloy plate welding parts.
