Purpose of hot forging:
Improve the density and strength of titanium rods: by hot forging, the internal pores and defects of titanium rods can be eliminated to improve their density and overall strength.
Improve the structure and properties of titanium rods: During hot forging, the grains inside the rods will be rearranged to form a more uniform and dense microstructure, thus improving their mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

The process of hot forging:
Raw material preparation: choose high purity titanium ore as raw material, after melting and casting to get liquid titanium metal.
Heating: Heat the titanium metal to the appropriate temperature, usually above its recrystallisation temperature, to ensure that it has good plasticity and deformation capacity.
Forging: The heated titanium metal is put into a forging machine and pressure is applied to forge it. During the forging process, the titanium metal undergoes plastic deformation, which changes its shape and size.
Subsequent treatment: After forging, titanium rods require subsequent process steps such as heat treatment, finishing and surface treatment to further improve their properties and appearance quality.
