Key Advantages
Versatility: performs well in both oxidizing and reducing acid environments, unlike pure titanium which mainly suits oxidizing conditions. Cost-effectiveness: corrosion resistance similar to the palladium-containing Grade 7 at lower cost. Excellent fabricability: easier to form and weld than many high-alloy metals. Low weight: retains titanium's low density, saving significant weight over stainless steels, copper-nickels or nickel alloys.
