What is a GR12 titanium tube?
Gr12 titanium (Mo Ti - 0.3-0.8 Ni, nickel titanium aluminum alloy) is a kind of corrosion resistant titanium alloy , is developed in order to improve the crevice corrosion performance of pure titanium and nearly a alloy, the alloy containing 0.8% 0.3% Mo and Ni, not only to strengthen the alloy, but also for high temperature, low pH vapors or weak reducing acid has good crevice corrosion resistance, its corrosion resistance was significantly superior to pure titanium towards Gr7 alloy. Gr12 titanium sheet alloy also has good plasticity and welding performance, has been widely used in chemical industry.
