What is a GR12 titanium tube?
Titanium Grade 12 Tube is a titanium grade alloyed with molybdenum and nickel. Ti Grade 12 Tubing holds an "excellent" rating for its high quality weldability. Titanium Gr 12 Tube is a highly durable alloy that provides a lot of strength at high temperatures. Titanium Grade 12 Seamless Tubes is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing environments and offers better heat resistance than pure titanium grades. ASTM B861 Titanium Alloy Grade 12 Seamless Tubing is approved by ASME Boiler Code for use up to 600°F. Titanium Alloy Grade 12 Tubes is similar to Titanium Grade 2 Tube and Titanium Grade 3 Tubing except that Grade 12 Titanium Welded Tubes has 0.3% molybdenum and 0.8% nickel. Titanium Grade 12 (3.7105) Condenser Tubes & ASTM B861 Titanium Grade 12 Welded Tubing has better heat resistance than pure Titanium. CP Grade 12 Titanium Square Pipe has greater resistance against heat which makes it particularly useful for tube heat exchangers.
