Grade 5 titanium alloy offers excellent strength and machinability, making it one of the most commonly used titanium alloy grades worldwide. GNEE is a leading supplier of Ti-6Al-4V to multiple industries. Our Ti-6Al-4V is heat-treatable, offering high strength and ductility, as well as good weldability and machinability. We offer solution-aged round bar conforming to AMS 4965. Grade 5 Titanium Benefits | AMS 4928
Titanium has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element. Titanium grade 5 is significantly stronger than titanium grades 1-4 or commercially pure titanium. It offers excellent strength and fabricability, making it extremely popular for aircraft and automotive applications. Despite its high strength, Ti 811 is relatively lightweight. Titanium grade 5 can be heat treated and welded. Grade 5 is corrosion resistant, which also makes it popular in marine applications.
