Compared to steel, Grade 11 titanium sheet (Ti-0.15Pd – Grade 11) combines high strength with a low weight-to-weight ratio, resulting in superior performance. Grade 11 titanium sheet can only be wire-drawn and cannot be polished. Like Grade 1 titanium sheet, Grade 11 titanium sheet also exhibits excellent ductility and cold formability. Grade 11 rolled titanium sheets are widely used in the aerospace industry. While historically a dedicated material for aerospace, Grade 11 titanium sheet is now gradually penetrating numerous markets, including power plants and the watchmaking industry. Grade 11 titanium composite sheets are more resistant to scratches and do not easily develop scratches. They possess excellent strength, high impact toughness, and good weldability.
