Ti-0.15Pd Alloy Advantages

Titanium Grade 7 is mechanically and physically equivalent to Ti Grade 2, except Titanium Grade 7 contains the added interstitial element palladium. This provides Ti Grade 7 with the highest corrosion resistance in reducing acids of all titanium alloys.

Titanium Grade 7 Applications

Titanium Grade 7 also has excellent weldability and fabricability while being the most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids. This makes Ti Grade 7 ideal for handling corrosive chemicals and fluids. Some industries that use Titanium Grade 7 include:

Chemical Processes

Production Equipment Components

Ducting

Heat exchangers

Pulp & Paper

Desalination

Air Pollution Control Equipment

Cold Drawn Titanium Welded Pipe
Small diameter Titanium Steel Alloy pipe
Titanium Super Alloy Thin Wall Pipe
Titanium Alloy Exhaust Pipe

Titanium Grade 7 Specifications

Titanium Grade 7 contains the added interstitial element palladium, which makes it an alloy. Titanium Alloy Grade 7 with 0.1% palladium is similar to Grade 2, but with improved resistance to general and localized crevice corrosion in a broad range of reducing acid environments, including chlorides, and where low pH and high temperatures above 180ºF (83ºC) to 500ºF (260ºC) are prevalent.
