What is a GR12 titanium sheet?
Titanium Grade 12 is a titanium alloy that contains a small amount of molybdenum and nickel, enhancing its corrosion resistance in highly acidic environments such as hot brines and reducing acids. This makes Titanium UNS R53400 Sheets an ideal choice for applications involving high chloride or acidic concentrations. The addition of alloying elements gives it characteristics similar to Grade 2 but with enhanced corrosion resistance and better strength properties, allowing it to perform exceptionally in moderately high temperature and pressure conditions.
