The ASME SB861 standard applies to a wide range of grades of seamless titanium and titanium alloy tubing, which are primarily intended for general corrosion resistance and high-temperature service. The standard lists various grades of titanium alloys such as Grade 1 (unalloyed low-oxygen titanium), Grade 2 (unalloyed standard-oxygen titanium), Grade 3 (unalloyed medium-oxygen titanium), and Grade 5 (titanium alloy with 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium), as well as grades for more specific alloy compositions.
