ASTM B861 covers the requirements for 34 grades of titanium and titanium alloy seamless pipe intended for general corrosion-resisting and elevated temperature service.
Alloys may be supplied in the following conditions:
Grades 5, 23, 24, 25, 29, 35, or 36 – annealed or aged;
Grades 9, 18, 28, or 38 – cold-worked and stress-relieved or annealed;
Grades 9, 18, 23, 28, or 29 – transformed-beta condition;
Grades 19, 20, or 21 – solution-treated or solution-treated and aged.

ASTM B861 titanium tubing is supplied as straight or U-bent tubing. Titanium spiral tubing and titanium capillary tubing are available on request.
Lengths: 4000 mm; 6000 mm; 12000 mm; various lengths and short cuts available. Maximum development length: 20 meters.
Characteristics: low density, high specific strength, excellent corrosion resistance, no rust, good thermal stability, good thermal conductivity, good biological properties, plasticity, etc.
Inspection and testing: ultrasonic testing (UT), electrical non-destructive testing (ET), flaring test, hydraulic test, flattening test, visual surface inspection, dimensional inspection, tensile property test and chemical element analysis.
