Titanium Neck Flange

Titanium Neck flange is also called titanium butt welding flange. It is different from flat welding flange in that there is a long and inclined high neck from the welding place of the flange and the pipe to the flange. The wall thickness gradually transitions to the pipe wall thickness along the height direction, which improves the discontinuity of stress, thus strengthening the strength of the flange.

It is mainly used in the occasions where the working conditions are relatively severe, such as the occasions where the stress on the flange is large or the stress changes repeatedly due to the thermal expansion of the pipeline or other loads, the pipeline with large fluctuations in pressure and temperature, or the pipeline with high temperature, high pressure and sub-zero temperature . The high-neck flange is not easy to deform, has good sealing, and is widely used. The nominal pressure is about PN1.0MPa~PN25.0MPa.

Titanium Neck flange can be divided into flat high-neck flanges, raised-face high-neck flanges, concave-convex high-neck flanges, tongue-and-groove flanges, and ring-joint high-neck flanges according to the types of sealing surfaces.
