Ti6Al4V titanium alloy plate has medium room temperature and high temperature strength, good creep resistance and thermal stability, high fatigue crack extension resistance and resistance to (sea) fatigue, as well as good salt stress corrosion fracture toughness and heat resistance, and is suitable for a wide range of pressure-forming processing methods, as well as being welded and machined in a variety of ways.

Welding Properties of Gr5 Titanium Sheet
1) Gr5 alloys can be welded by tig welding, spot welding, brazing, electron beam welding and plasma welding. The strength of the welded joints is essentially equivalent to that of the base material.
2) After welding, Gr5 alloys are stress relieved and annealed at 550-650°C, which removes 70% to 80% of the weld stress. Stress relief annealing of welded plate parts is best carried out in a vacuum furnace or protective atmosphere furnace.
