ASTM Standard Gr2 Titanium Round Bar

ASTM standard has special technical requirements for Gr2 titanium round bar.
The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3620.1, and when repeated testing is required, the permissible deviation of chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3620.2.
The diameters of cold-drawn bars, cold-rolled bars (ground) and cold-rolled bars after hot working shall meet the requirements.
The roundness deviation of the bar after turning (grinding) after hot working shall not be more than half of its dimensional tolerance.
The indefinite length of processed bars shall be 300-6000mm, and the length of annealed bars shall be 300-2000mm. the length of fixed length or re-length shall be within the range of indefinite length. The permissible deviation of the fixed length is +20mm; the length of the doubled length shall also be included in the cutting of the bar, each cut being 5mm. the contract shall specify the fixed or doubled length.
