The initial raw material for all titanium products is a titanium-bearing mineral, usually ilmenite. Ilmenite ore becomes titanium concentrate after beneficiation process, titanium concentrate is smelted into titanium slag or processed by hydrometallurgy into artificial rutile or titanium-rich material, titanium concentrate or acid-soluble titanium slag is used as raw material of titanium dioxide in sulfuric acid method, and concentrated sulfuric acid acid acid decomposition to produce titanium dioxide, titanium chloride slag or artificial rutile is chlorinated to generate titanium tetrachloride, and then magnesium high-temperature reduction of the production of titanium sponge, titanium sponge is fused at high temperatures into titanium ingots, which can be further processed into titanium rods. The titanium sponge is melted into titanium ingot at high temperature and can be further processed into titanium material.
