The interstitial impurity elements of these three types of industrial pure titanium are gradually increased, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase gradually, but the plasticity and toughness decrease accordingly.

Characteristics of industrial titanium bar:

The strength is not high, but the plasticity is good, and it is easy to be processed, formed, stamped, welded, and has good machinability. It has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in the atmosphere, sea water, wet chlorine and oxidizing, neutral, and weak reducing media. It is better than most austenitic stainless steels; but it has poor heat resistance and should not be used at too high a temperature.
