Grade 5 Titanium wire contains Titanium (Ti) ≤ 0.30, Iron (Fe) ≤ 0.30, Carbon (C) ≤ 0.10, Nitrogen (N) ≤ 0.05, Hydrogen (H) ≤ 0.015, Oxygen (O) ≤ 0.20, Aluminium (Al) 5.5 to 6.8, Vanadium (V) 3.5 to 4.5.

The main material of grade 5 titanium welding wire is Ti-6Al-4V: this material has good heat resistance, strength, plasticity, toughness, formability, weldability, corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. The amount of alloy has accounted for 75%-85% of all titanium alloys.
