Products Description
Titanium Grade 2 Pipe is a heat treated for strength in 1200°F to 1400°F range of temperature. It is a commercially pure titanium material and it has excellent mechanical properties. Pearl Overseas manufactures all types of titanium grade 2 pipes. These are expensive pipes and are used in on specifically required applications. The Titanium Grade 2 Seamless Pipe is used in sophisticated system because of its higher dimensional accuracy. The applications range from architecture, automotive industries to aerospace industries and desalination plants. This is possible because the material has a high melting point of 1665 degrees Celsius so that it can withstand high temperatures.
The Titanium Alloy Gr 2 Pipe has a Rockwell C value 98 so that it is very hard. Also the material is naturally strong with 430MPa tensile strength and 340MPa yield strength. The Grade 2 Titanium Welded Pipes are less accurate on wall thickness than the seamless pipes. This is because of the manufacturing process. The welded pipes are welded from strips and have seam on the surface. The GR. 2 Ti ERW Pipe is created by another procedure called electric resistance weld.
