Products Description
Grade 2 titanium tubing is an unalloyed, medium-strength titanium product. This seamless Grade 2 titanium tubing is used for airframes, aircraft engines, and marine components; its notable features include good weldability and corrosion resistance. Titanium alloy Gr. 2 welded tubing has the chemical symbol Ti and is also known as Ti Gr. 2 drawn tubing. Steel is magnetic and corrosive, compared to the non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant ASTM B338 Gr. 2 titanium tubing. Gr. 2 titanium tubing is a bright white metal. Gr. 2 titanium alloy ERW tubing has properties similar to tin. ASME SB338 Grade 2 titanium round tubing and Gr. 2 titanium alloy tubing are used in aircraft and aerospace applications. Generally, due to its low impurity content, titanium Gr. 2 welded tubing is less susceptible to solidification cracking.
