Ti-3Al-2.5V (Gr9) titanium alloy offers approximately 50% higher strength than industrial pure titanium while maintaining excellent ductility, making it suitable for applications requiring a balance between strength and formability, such as aerospace and bicycle frames. Its bending performance falls between that of CP titanium and Ti-6Al-4V. It performs exceptionally well in the manufacture of aerospace hydraulic hoses, bicycle frames, and sporting goods.
