What is a GR12 titanium sheet?
Titanium GR 12 Sheets & Plates is a titanium alloyed plates in addition to nickel and molybdenum content. The grade of plates is durable and exhibits superior strength at elevated temperatures. The Sheets features excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and decreasing environments circumstances. Moreover, it exhibits good heat and crevice corrosion resistance also. The presence of nickel and molybdenum content enhances good mechanical properties as compared to pure grade.
These grades of plates demonstrate improved strength and optimum code design allows at elevated temperature. The titanium grade offers good cold formability and weldability. The annealing of these plates is done at 732- 816 degree C. Furthermore the welding of these plates is done with various welding methods.
