Tool material: high-speed steel M42, B201 or carbide.
Reasonable drill sharpening: increase the top angle, reduce the front angle of the outer edge, increase the back angle of the outer edge, and increase the chamfering cone to 2 to 3 times of the standard drill.
Diligently retreat the tool and remove the chips in time, pay attention to the shape and color of the chips. If the chips appear feathery or the color changes during the drilling process, it indicates that the drill bit has been blunt and should be changed in time for sharpening.
Add enough cutting fluid: generally use soybean oil, if necessary, add French OLTIP drilling and tapping special oil.
Improve the rigidity of the process system: the drilling mold should be fixed on the worktable, the drilling mold guide should be close to the processing surface, try to use a short drill.
There is also a noteworthy problem: when taking manual feeding, the drill shall not be in the hole without going in and out, otherwise the drill blade rubs the machining surface, resulting in work hardening and dulling of the drill.
