(1) The acid, alkali and water tanks used for acid etching inspection of gr12 titanium alloy should have sufficient volume to ensure that the parts can move freely and be completely submerged.
(2) The container material and the solution in the container shall not react, and shall not damage the inspected parts. Use polyvinyl chloride or austenitic stainless steel for the material used to make the container.
(3) All containers shall be labeled with the solution they hold and covered with a lid when not in use.
(4) The acid etching work site should have good ventilation and air exchange.
