Recently, a client from the United Arab Emirates visited GNEE to conduct a three-day factory audit and product certification for its TA10 titanium alloy plates. This visit was not only for procurement purposes but also to meet the mandatory entry review requirements for core materials in a major local chemical project in the UAE.
The audit focused directly on the metal material certification system of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) and the relevant technical specifications of the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO). In the rolling workshop, the auditors not only verified the thickness tolerance (required to be ±0.15mm) but also supervised the entire process of the specific heat treatment records for the TA10 alloy, confirming full compliance with the microstructural requirements in the project's technical specifications.
In the laboratory, the testing plan was led and proposed by the client, strictly simulating the specific working conditions of a chemical plant in Abu Dhabi-a complex medium characterized by high temperature, high chloride ion content, and trace amounts of hydrogen sulfide. Accelerated corrosion tests lasting 500 hours and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) tests were conducted simultaneously. The final report showed that the corrosion rate and SCC resistance of the TA10 plate were both more than 50% better than the values specified in the GSO standards.

A key aspect of the audit was the international compatibility of the quality system. GNEE's digital quality system (MES/QMS) successfully achieved data interface verification with the client's internal supplier management platform, ensuring that the production and inspection data of every future batch of TA10 plates can be automatically integrated and meet their traceability requirements.
Based on the comprehensive factory audit and product certification, the client formally included GNEE in its qualified supplier list and signed a long-term supply agreement. This collaboration is not merely a product procurement but also marks the successful acquisition of a critical "passport" for GNEE's TA10 alloy to enter the high-end industrial market in the Gulf region.
