AMS 6945 Ti6al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Sheet

Gr5 titanium alloys have very high tensile strengths, typically above 925 MPa (135 ksi), and yield strengths above 870 MPa (127 ksi), as well as good ductility, with elongation typically above 10%.Gr5 titanium alloys have a density of about 4.51 g/cm³, which makes them lighter than many other metallic materials, contributing to a reduction in structural weight. Titanium alloy is highly resistant to corrosion in a wide range of media, especially in neutral and oxidising media. It has good corrosion resistance to most alkali solutions and most organic acids, but not in boiling sodium hydroxide solutions.
