Hot rolled Gr9 titanium sheet (also known as TC3.0 or Ti-3Al-2.5V) is titanium alloy sheet manufactured by a hot rolling process. The hot rolling process involves rolling the titanium sheet at temperatures higher than the titanium recrystallisation temperature. This process significantly reduces the deformation resistance of the material, improves rolling efficiency and is suitable for the production of large-size titanium alloy sheets.

Gr9 titanium alloy plate is characterised by light weight, high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, and its strength is slightly higher than that of TC4 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), but lower than that of Gr5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V). It has high strength and rigidity, but is less flexible.The hardness of Gr9 titanium alloy depends on the specific heat treatment process, and in general, the hardness after heat treatment is about 150~260HV2.
