Pure Titanium Sheet
Pure titanium sheet is malleable and can be molded with only minor processing. This metal is corrosion resistant and hypoallergenic. Surface finish and hardness vary slightly. The benefit of using sheet metal is having machinable metal on hand when needed; it can be custom cut to the exact size and shape required by the design. Soft metal sheets are easier to bend, shape and hammer, making them ideal for forming, shaping and cladding. Keep in mind that hardness can be changed (by annealing or heat quenching) and that hardness is relative to the type of metal (each metal's hardness will have a different feel and finish). It is also important to remember that the harder the metal is, the shinier the surface will be when the workpiece is surface treated.
