The Titanium ASTM B348 Grade 2 Flat Bars have a composition of titanium, carbon, iron, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen. This composition is responsible for the extreme mechanical properties of the material. The material has 344MPa minimum tensile strength and 275MPa minimum yield strength. The Titanium UNS R50400 Forged Bars also have 1665 degrees Celsius melting point. This extreme melting point provides the material the space to dominate high temperature applications as well high strength applications. The applications of the Grade 2 Ti Square Bar as well as the others include power generation, petrochemicals, gas processing, heat exchangers, pulp and paper industry, condensers and specialty chemicals.
