ASTM F136/F1341 Pure Titanium Wire

ASTM F136/F1341 Pure Titanium Wire is annealed and polished, meets medical ASTM F136 specifications. The grade 23 titanium alloy, also known as Ti 6Al-4V ELI, offers high toughness and moderate wear resistance, along with corrosion resistance, high strength, and good formability. The material has been annealed, a method of heating and cooling metal to modify its properties, such as increasing its formability and toughness or decreasing its strength, after it has been shaped.

Titanium and its alloys, due to a successful combination of high strength, sufficient technological properties, small density and good corrosion resistance are gaining wider application for medical instruments production, used in general surgery, stomatology, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology etc. The application of titanium alloys for surgical implants, micro instruments and also sets of microsurgical instruments in combination with stainless steels is most expedient.
