ASTM B338 Grade 7 titanium tubing is an industrial-grade pure titanium, very similar to Grade 2 titanium tubing, the difference being that Grade 7 contains 0.2 wt% palladium. In fact, the small amount of palladium added to ASTM B338 Grade 7 titanium tubing effectively prevents porosity corrosion at temperatures below 480 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 249 degrees Celsius).
