What is GR6 titanium?
GR6 alloy pipe is a type of titanium alloy pipe with a titanium content of approximately 99.5% and strict impurity control. It combines the corrosion resistance of titanium with the strength advantages derived from alloying. In simple terms, it is a "high-purity, high-performance" industrial piping material. Due to its stable performance, it is widely used in this region and surrounding industrial areas.
Core Performance Characteristics
Strong Corrosion Resistance: It performs exceptionally well in environments like chemical plants and marine settings. It resists rusting even after long-term exposure to seawater, acid, or alkali solutions, offering a service life 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary carbon steel pipes.
Excellent Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Its strength is comparable to steel, but its density is only about 60% that of steel. This makes GR6 pipes significantly lighter, ideal for weight reduction in large equipment such as fans and ship power systems, where they often replace traditional steel pipes.
High-Temperature Stability: It can operate at temperatures up to 500°C. It performs stably in high-temperature furnaces, heat treatment equipment, and similar scenarios, resisting deformation due to temperature fluctuations.

Common Application Areas
Chemical Industry: Used to transport corrosive media like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid in chemical plants, preventing pipeline corrosion and failure.
Marine Engineering: In coastal areas, GR6 alloy pipe is the preferred choice for pipelines in shipbuilding and seawater desalination projects due to its resistance to salt spray corrosion.
Machinery Manufacturing: Local machinery processing and automotive parts manufacturers use it for hydraulic system pipelines to enhance the equipment's high-pressure resistance.
Selection and Usage Precautions
Verify Material Certification: When purchasing, request a material test report from the supplier. Focus on key parameters like titanium content and tensile strength to avoid inferior substitutes.
Select Specifications Based on Application: Choose thick-walled pipes (wall thickness ≥5mm) for high-pressure environments and thin-walled pipes for low-pressure transport. The pipe diameter must match the equipment's connection port size.
Perform Regular Maintenance After Installation: Welding should be performed by qualified technicians. Avoid hard impacts during daily use. Regularly inspect the pipe surface for scratches or signs of corrosion.
GR6 alloy pipes play a vital role in the industrial sector thanks to their corrosion resistance and high strength. Whether for corporate procurement or personal understanding, knowing their characteristics and applications beforehand enables more informed decision-making.

Our factory
Our factory specializes in the field of international trade of titanium materials, professionally producing high-quality series products such as titanium tubes, titanium bars, titanium plates, titanium wires, and titanium strips. The factory is equipped with internationally advanced production and testing equipment, including precision forging units, high-speed cold rolling mills, vacuum melting furnaces, CNC spinning machines, continuous drawing production lines, and automated surface treatment systems. Coupled with precision testing instruments such as spectrometers and ultrasonic flaw detectors, we ensure precise control over the entire process from raw materials to finished products. We are committed to providing global customers with titanium products that offer excellent performance and a complete range of specifications through stable and reliable processes and strict quality management, meeting the application needs of high-end industries such as energy, chemical, aerospace, and medical fields.

Titanium product packaging
We place great emphasis on the transportation safety and delivery quality of our products. All titanium materials are packaged using strict industrial-grade solutions: titanium tubes and bars undergo anti-rust treatment, are tightly wrapped with waterproof stretch film, and then placed in reinforced wooden or iron boxes lined with moisture-proof paper, with fillers added to prevent sliding and collisions during transportation. Titanium plates and strips are covered with protective film, fitted with edge protectors, separated layer by layer with moisture-proof paper, loaded onto sturdy wooden or steel pallets, and securely fastened with steel straps. Fine titanium wires are neatly coiled onto specialized spools and encapsulated in sealed boxes that are waterproof and dustproof. Each packaging unit is accompanied by clear product labels, material certificates, and moisture-proof indicators, ensuring that the goods remain intact, clearly labeled, and safely delivered to global customers through long-distance sea freight and multimodal transportation.
