Gr2 Titanium Pipes

With moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance and formability, Titanium Grade 2 Seamless Pipes represents the most widely used form of titanium.

Specifications: Diameter: 2.0～200; Wall thickness: 0.5～8.0

Executive standard: GB/T3625-2007, ASTM B337/338, ASTM B861 GB/T3624-2007, ASTM B862

Features: low density (4.51KG/m3), high melting point (1660°C), strong corrosion resistance, high specific strength and good plasticity.

Application areas: aerospace, machinery, chemical, electrolysis, medical, sports and other industries.

The industrial pure titanium commonly used in industry is Gr2 because of its moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties. TA3 can be used when high wear resistance and strength are required. Gr1 can be used when better molding properties are required.

When the iron content ω is 0.095%, the oxygen content ω is 0.08%, the hydrogen content ω is 0.0009%, and the nitrogen content ω is 0.0062%, the Gr1 and Gr2 titanium tubes have good low temperature toughness and high low temperature strength. Used as low temperature structural material below -253℃.
