GR7 Palladium Titanium Alloy Plate
Grade 7 titanium alloy sheet (titanium-palladium alloy) has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidising media. It also exhibits considerable corrosion resistance in reducing media and is particularly suitable for improving crevice corrosion resistance in media with high chloride ion concentrations.Grade 7 titanium metal sheet contains 0.2 per cent palladium. In 5% boiling sulphuric acid, the use of Grade 7 titanium-palladium alloys reduces the corrosion rate from 48.26 mm/a (industrially pure titanium) to 0.508 mm/a, an increase in corrosion resistance of approximately 95 times.
