The alloy has good welding properties and is suitable for tungsten electrode and metal electrode welding process under inert gas protection. The utility model can be used for manufacturing parts such as casing shell, wall plate, etc. . The long-term working temperature of the alloy can reach 500 ° C and the short-term working temperature can reach 800 ° C.  The semi-finished products include plate, bar, cake and ring parts, etc. . It can also be used to produce castings.

Application

Gr-6 titanium alloy is stable in atmosphere and seawater. Compared with Gr-5 alloy, the alloy is more sensitive to thermal salt stress corrosion, and it will produce stress corrosion in artificial sea salt heavily covered environment and exposed to 316 ° C and 207 MPA stress for 100 h.The alloy has good weldability. High toughness can be obtained by inert gas shielded tungsten electrode welding (TIG) or metal electrode welding (MIG) at low temperature. Since brazing produces brittleness associated with intermetallic compounds, argon arc welding, spot welding, and seam welding are generally used.Gr-6 alloy die forgings and rings are used for engine adapter, front casing shell, sealing ring shell, lining plate, support seat and wall plate, etc.
