Titanium Grade 5 Sheet / Plate is made under the specifications ASTM B265, UNS, N56400, MSRR, AMS and BS specifications. The material used is a high alloy with 90% titanium in the composition. The plates are made as clad plates, rolling plates, flat shim, plain sheets and many other types. The Titanium Grade 5 Sheet has high strength and corrosion resistance. It is resistant to most corrosive media for general corrosive services. The Grade 5 Titanium Plate is the most used of all grades of titanium plates. There are different sizes and dimensions of the plates such as the AMS 4911 plate which ranges from 0.3mm to 1200 mm in thickness. The UNS R56400 Sheets can be hot rolled or cold rolled in production. The cold rolled plates are stronger and are rolled at room temperatures. The B265-20a strips are used in the production of welded pipes and tubes. The material has a very high temperature resistance with high melting points.
